Hmmm...confusing. I'm assuming I couldn't check out from my computer. If so, I couldn't make it work. I've never listened to a book, but it would be fun to listen to David Sedaris. I looked around, but couldn't do much here.
I'm a singer, but when I was on Bozo, I told him I was going to be a librarian, so I think I've ended up in the right place. My father and I spent many hours together at the library. He gave me a death stare when I made Mrs. Tester go down to the basement "holiday" stacks for a copy of a special winter book on a missing mitten. (that I took out EVERY week!) He let me take out my first book with NO pictures, but told me I probably wouldn't like it. He was right. I still needed pictures, but I never confessed! Every Christmas, after we had opened our gifts, my father would silently look around, smirk, and slowly get up and walk to the garage, open the car trunk, and bring in books for each of us--wrapped in store paper. He never said a word. I still share library time with my dad when I go out every Christmas and buy large print books for my hometown library in his memory. It's a sweet remembrance for me, and every year I say "Merry Christmas Daddy".
